my parrot fish.

Question
I have a parrot fish and for the past two days my fish has had a white film over both of her eyes. Do you think my fish has caught an infection as she is behaving very strange. She keeps putting her face to the bottom of the tank all the time and hangs herself upside down. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP.

It might help her to make a 25% water change right away. Many times these things are water quality related. Her behavior indicates that possibility. Have your water tested for the levels of ammonia and nitrites. If there is any trace of ammonia or nitrite, there is a water problem and more water changes will be needed. If the water is okay, get a medication that treats the symptoms you have described. The packages at the local fish store will have descriptions on them. Probably a fungus remedy that also treats for bacterial infections is what she needs.
