QuestionQUESTION: I just purchased a black and white male Society Finch. I have put him in with my two white Zebra Finches. Besides having to get use to one another, is this something that will all work out in the end? I have a guarantee that states that I can bring the Society Finch in 14 days if it doesn't work out. What do you think?
ANSWER: I don't believe so. As long as the zebras or the society don't have an aggressive personality then everything should be fine.

QUESTION: All the poor Society Finch wants to do is make friends. But, my two white ones are the aggressors in this case. I so wanted to hear a bird singing, and that is just why I bought this pretty little bird. I will watch them more closely today to see what happens. If they continue, then I have no other choice but to return him. Thanks for all the great advice you have given me.
AnswerYou can get the society a buddy and put them separate from the zebras. Zebras have a more aggressive personality than societies. The good thing about societies is that they are cheap (at least here they are) and their sociable personalities make it easy to pick out a buddy for them (either sex is good for a society).
