mixing breeds

i wanted to know if i can mix my zebra finches with white finches in the cage its not a big cage but big enough. i am planning to get another nest for the white finches when they arrive and put it in the same cage with my zebra finches i have a female and male finche and i am going to get a female and male white finche will they leave eachother alone and leave eachothers babies alone?

I would have to know the dimensions of the cage to be able to tell you. However, some species of finches can not be mixed. Zebras, by nature, are slightly aggressive and are best when housed only with their own kind. You can house them with other species of finches and it's usually okay until they start breeding. I would also need to know the name of the birds you want to put them on. White finches sounds like Javas and Javas are aggressive and therefore not good cage mates with any birds aside from other Javas
