finches

hi Megan I have 2 finches they are brown  with some white, and black.  they are female and male I'm sure of   but lately the female has been on the bottom of the cage  she is eating and drinking water she went up to the perch  to get food and water.
she sleeps up on the perch high up at night with the male and during the day she she's on the bottom or  she'll climb on the side of the cage but she doesnt seem to sit up on the perches like she used to she used to always be up but now she seems to like being on the ground , we can't take her to a vet cause theres none here where i live that deal with birds. help? please.
is this normal behavior for female finches to do?

She is a sick bird. I highly recommend finding a vet closest to you that deals with birds but in the meantime what you can do to help is to buy a heater and thermometer and keep the cage temperature around 31C. Make sure she has plenty of fresh food and water. If she doesn't get better within a couple weeks, a vet trip is mandatory
