Question
I have 9 finches, 5 males, 4 females. One pair is the mom and dad and the others are offspring.  They have paired up leaving one white female.  Should I purchase another male for the lonely white female? She is losing her tail feathers.  Also, I am removing the eggs as I find them. Is this the right thing to do? I do not want any more babies!!

Answer
So the siblings paired up? This is correct thing to do then, not letting them have babies. I would get another male for your lonley female and put them in a seperate cage. It is likely her siblings and parents are picking on her because she is trying to get close to them and they won't allow it.
