Dummie Eggs

Question
I have two zebra finch birds, male and female. They are constantly breeding and laying eggs. I check their nest often and find eggs there and remove the eggs. Where can I get dummie eggs, to slow down their breeding? Do you have any other advice?

Answer
What I use for fake eggs is their own eggs. What you do is stick their eggs in the fridge for an hour or more (I like over night but to each their own) and then give them back (mark the dud eggs so you know when they lay more).
There's not really much else you can do. I mean, it's not like you can fix birds. The dud eggs work well and it seems to slow down any avid breeder
