cockatiel behaviour

We have one year old cockatiel who seems healthy and happy. Recently he began this activity a number of times each day. For several minutes at a time, he bends deeply, flattening his body  somewhat, sways back and forth muttering and slowly walks up and down on his perch. He seems to look at his mirror a bit or rub his back on a hanging toy near his perch.  Can you tell me the reason for his behaviour?

This is hard to say, I have never seen a cockatiel do this. It defiantly is a normal behavior, but I believe he could be humping something? Birds will hump. haha
