Question
I have a pair of cockatiel that are in the process of hatching babies. There were five eggs. Two have hatched and the parents are feeding them and taking care of them. Will they take care of all the babies? How will I know if they can't take care of all of them? And how do I take care of them if their parents don't.

Answer
Hello, Cockatiels are mostly good parents and take care of there young very well you will notice if they are having truble feeding a larger batch of babies by inspecting the chicks crops if they are almost empty or empty alot of the time the parents arent feeding them enough and you will need to supplment feed or handfeed them.    here is a link on how to handfeed: http://www.j-birds.com/handfeed.html
