breeding my mare

I have a mare that just had her filly, well long story short the baby died a day after foaling. I was wondering how long I have to wait before I can breed her again? Could it be the next time she goes into heat? I am not sure. Thanks so much for your time!

Yes, but I would find out why the baby died, did mother reject her, was it sickness, it may happen again, so why put mare through it?

The horse will go into heat as soon as the baby stops taking milk, so it may a little bit, but if the mare is in heat, it is ready.
