yearling
hello. i believe that this yearling has stifle situated above the sheath. it means a sprinter. am i right?

Answer
Dear Rohit- the stifle is the joint below the hip and above the hock in the hind leg. It has nothing to do with determining if a racehorse is a distance or sprint runner. A skeletal image will show you exactly where the stifle is located.
