What are the odds my horse is pregnant again

Question
I bought a horse back in May of 2008.  She had a colt by her side which was born in April.  I've separate the mare and the colt.  My neighbor came by and ask us when our mare was due.  We were like she isn't pregnant.  He seems to think she is.  Her belly is very large.  Larger than I would consider a grass belly.  I looked at her bag and they were dried up but now they seem full and hard.  We called the lady we got her from and she said she didn't think she had her stud and the mare in the same pasture until after the had gelded him.  So is is possibly he could have gotten her pregnant in foal heat.

Answer
just get the mare checked for pregnancy. You cannot tell by looking at the size of the abdomen. If she is bagged up, she may well be pregnant, but there are other things in the pasture etc that can cause a bag to form. Just have a simple rectal exam done on her and if she is further along than about 3 months, it will be very easy to tell. good luck.
