Question
QUESTION: hello madam, how to protect horse fetlock from injuries? is there any bandage for it? is there any proper exercise for it??

ANSWER: use bell boots on your horse as well as polo wraps on its legs. the bell boots will keep it from clipping its front feet, pulling its shoe, and cutting its fetlock. the polo wraps will protect its tendons and will go low enough to help protect its fetlock as well.

QUESTION: madam, is this fetlock what i indicated in the picture. madam, i have one doubt, do leg bandages protect the horse tendons or the fetlocks?? madam, i heard that few trainers give a shot to fetlocks for their strength. is it correct??

Answer
yes that is the fetlock. the bandages protect both the tendons and the fetlock. some trainers will apply shots to their fetlocks but this is because the horses is having problems with it. they inject it to ease the swelling and remove liquid from the fetlock. this is from the stress on the horses legs from running. a horse that needs shots is one that is being over worked
