Baby yellow belly slider gender

Please don't tell me to go to the vet or something, but is there any way that i can tell if my turtle is a boy or girl? I named it Theador just in case, but this is driving me nuts! I know that it is definitly less than a month old,so I looked it up and i can't find the answer.

No.  All turtles look female until they're mature, so you'll have to wait a few years to find out.

I'm going to link some care information for you below, so you can make sure that your turtle is as healthy as possible.  If you got care advice from a pet store, it may not be accurate at all, and for hatchlings it's very important that they're cared for properly.  Good luck (and it's a good idea to know the name of a reptile vet in your area, just in case)!
