Wild Turtle

Question

Turtle I found at the   I have a small turtle that has yellow stripes on the shell,face, arms, legs and two black spots on the under belly of its shell. The eye color is yellow also. It also has ridges going down the middle of its shell. So what kind of turtle do I have and is it a male or female?

I can't tell what kind of turtle it is from the picture. You really ought to take it back and release it where it was found, wild turtles generally do not do well kept indoors. You can tell it's a male if it has a very long thick tail and long claws, and typically in indentation on the underside.
