Unidentified Turtle

Question
I found a turtle today and i dont know what kind it is so i dont know exactly how to take care of it. i was wondering if you could tell me what kind it was. thank you.

It is either the European Pond Turtle, or the American Pacific Pond Turtle, depending on where you found it.

Understand that in general, wild turtles should be released unless you are willing to provide them with excellent care, big housing, etc.
