This film on the top of my tanks water.

My Red eared slider has this weird film on the top of his water, and I have no clue what it is. It's a whiteish, blueish color, but it doesn't do anything to the turtle? What is it? Is this something I should be worried about?

Its an oil film from the food and waste materials. It signals that your basic cares might need to be quite right (especially tank size, filtration, and diet.)
