how to pick them up

hello i have 2 sugar glider (both males) and i am afraid to pick them up out of there pouch my dads girlfriend picked them up out of there pouch and they bit her so now i am afraid please tell me how i should pick them up

if you want them to trust you you need to start holding them even when they are biting, they are biting only cause they havent bonded to you yet and they still see you as the ememy....if you hold and play with them daily and just take the bite when they do bite they will come to realize you are someone that wont hurt them and it may take a little bit but they will come around to trusting you eventually if you keep playing and keep holding them regularly.....you can try to give them treats like fruits and honey from your hand so that they see your hand as something that brings good things and not bad
