Question
last night my female glider was hissing and crabbing nonstop for unknown reasons, and she didn't eat, which is unusual.nothing about her fruits and vegetables had changed except I didn't prepare her meal my mom did, which she used to do before.and she still ran in her wheel, could she be sick?

Answer
Mariesa,

I'm not a vet, so I can't be sure if your glider is sick.  Does she eat protein, too?  Does she get calcium supplements?  Does she have a companion?  All of these are important for glider health.

Are the glider's ears perky?  Does she look and behave like she usually does?  The hissing, crabbing, and occasional loss of appetite are not unusual for healthy gliders.  The best way to tell is to observe her and be concerned about any changes in looks or behavior.

I hope this helps,

Betty
