Question
QUESTION: hi, i wanted to know what would be the best way to keep the cage warm during the winter. I bought a normal domestic electric heater, but it may be dangerous to keep it working overnight while I sleep. please let me know of recommended heating ways. Thanks.

ANSWER: yeah the electric heaters are dangerous to keep running all night....if you have the heat on in the house that would be ok or if you cant use any heat in the house keep your glider in the warmest room of the house where there are no drafts from cold air coming in...also you can put a little sleeping bed into the cage that the glider can crawl into to keep warm......alot of pet stores have them where you can clip them to the top of the cage and the glider can crawl into it to keep warm.....

QUESTION: first of all, thanks for the quick reply. I'm not heating my house at all. i already have a fleece pouch for her, but she is getting out of it every night, and playing all night long outside of the pouch. I'm afraid that the pouch is not enough for her because i think she got a cold. and the warmest area in the house will still get under 50 degrees every night. any suggestions? thanks again.

Answer
you can also try to put a small little blanket in there for her that she can crawl under....like other animals when she gets cold she will crawl back into the pouch or blanket to get away from the cold....it seems like you are doing what you can for her since an electic heater running all night is dangerous and you dont use heat at all in your house.....
