Aggressive Hog Island Boa

Question
Hi I acquired a 1 month old Hog Island Boa about 4 months ago.  She was very tame and after handling her a few times she was able to calm down.  One time I tried to get her out of her enclosure and she began hissing and striking at me so I let her be.  The next night I was able to pick her up no problem and that had not happen again.  I recently just moved and had to keep her in a small enclosure for almost two days.  I put her back into her normal enclosure and left her alone for about 5 days.  Recently when I tried to get her out to feed she was being extremely aggressive and hostile to me again.  I removed her from her enclosure to re-adjust some things and when I went to pick her up off the carpet she once again began to hiss and actually bit me twice (fortunately she's still small enough so that it doesn't hurt).  And again today she did the same thing when I attempted to take her out.  Do you have any recommendations as to how to tame her again? Thanks

Answer
Hi Aaron
I get this question alot. It is very common in young snakes. You moved and that has caused stress on your snake.  You will need to be patient and continue handling her daily.  If you don't like her biting then I suggest wearing gloves until she calms down. In time she will adjust to her new environment and not want to bite. Just remember...daily consistant handling :-)  Good luck.
