Questionhey Paul! well i have a two year old corn snake, Julio, hes a great companion but in my line of work i am sleeping in tents and leantos quite often...so my questions to you are...what is a good core temperature for my buddy to maintain and is there such a thing as a battery powered heating pad..please help me out...thanks peace and love
Answerwell in general you'll want to keep him above 60 degrees. 70s is more optimal. It can survive just fine at this temp. However, when you feed him he's going to need some low 80s or time in the sun to digest the meal. I would suggest feeding lots of small meals instead of a larger one. As far as battery powered heating pads, I really don't know.
