My Boa was underfed under previous owner

I bought a 4 month Boa some two weeks ago from a breeder and now I came to know that he didn't feed him as he should so that the snake remained at birth size, I don't know why!
Since I bought it he eats every  5 - 7 days without problems. Will there be any permanent damage? and what should I do to make up for the mistake?

Hey Jonathan,

There will not be any problems. I to bought a red tail boa from a private owner who did not know how to feed her and she was about a foot to short and about 200 grams under weight. She is now around seven foot and 10 pounds.
