Question
my gopher snake laid 7 eggs about 2 weeks ago and im not sure of incubation process. in the last 3 days 4 of the eggs went from white to a yellow/orange color and deformed looking. i have kept them in a plastic container with ventilation holes, the eggs are laying in terrarium moss and temp stays between 78-83 degrees and humidity stays between 50-60%. are they dead or is this normal? what should i do?

Answer
Only the bright white eggs are still good.  Your temp for incubation should be 85-88 no higher and not much lower.  Also, lose the ventilation holes.  Simply open the container twice a week to exchange the air (most containers aren't all that air tight anyway).  Good luck with the remaining eggs!
