Leopard Gecko Parasites

Question
I have an about four month old female leopard gecko. She for the first two weeks of me having her ate happily and excitedly. About a week ago, she stopped eating, she didn't look at the crickets or mealworms at all. She began to loose weight in her tail, I checked her underbelly and there was a small blue-ish black dot on the side of the belly. I fear this is parasites but don't have the money to take her to the vet. I am feeding her repta-aid with little results: accept she has stopped always being in the humid spot. I feel soon I will be mixing a mush of crickets, baby food, meal worms and the repta-aid to have her gain weight. Her tail isn't bone skinny but has begun to get smaller than her body width.

Answer
Well my first thought on this would be that its an environmental issue usually to do with heat. I would check to make sure her heat is up to the minimum of 85 degrees on the warm side which should be provided by an undertank heat source. Barring that this is correct. I could only recommend taking her to a reptile veterinarian and without proper identification if it is parasites could lead to worse future issues.
