bearded dragon ear growth

hi i have a 6 yr old male barded dragon and i recently noticed a growth coming from one of its ears it is dark in colour and seems to be getting bigger, it was oozing a day ago and i dont know what it could be, the animal appears to be acting as it normally does, i have never had any problems with it before can you please inform me what you think it could be.

Do you have any pictures of this for me?
Could he have had retained shed on his tympanic ear drum & scratched himself?  
I would keep it as clean as possible but do not get it wet so bacteria or water will penetrate into his ear.  If it is a growth & is getting larger, it sounds like it could be some type of tumor.  
I would think about taking him to the vet for this, as it could begin causing him some discomfort.

Is he eating pretty well right now?
