How long does a bearded dragon get?!

We have a bearded dragon that is 19 inches long from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail I'v seen that bearded dragons get only a foot long and then i'v heard of them only getting 15 inches long What is the true length they get to? I hope u know PLEASE E-mail me back id really appriciate it!

 19 inches is a nice sized dragon.  In Australia, the Inland Bearded Dragon is normally 18 to 22 inches average for females and 20 to over 26 inches for males.  
 Unfortunately, there were not enough dragons of pure genetic stock or wild caughts brought into this country to prevent inbreeding.  Also inbreeding and line breeding were used to create the color morphs.  Such inbreeding also causes genetic weakening, which is why our dragons are smaller and can no longer digest the heavier, fattier foods that they would in the wild, like rodents.  In recent years, imports from Germany have helped the genetics of several breeding lines, so we may see some average growth increases.
