My clumsy bearded

Question
Hi, I was just wondering if all bearded dragons were clumsy like my sweetheart is.  I have a branch that he loves to climb on because it is closest to his heat lamp in his 40 gallon terrarium he shares with his two brothers, white's dumpy treefrogs.  There are vines on the branch for the frogs and my beardie loves to climb them but constantly slips and falls.  I don't think he hurts himself, I just wanted to make sure that it's okay for him to continue playing on the vines or if it is just normal for him to slip off so much.  Thank you so much for all of your help.

Answer
Hi Lana, Beardeds are pretty hardy and I can't imagine that  falling from that short a distance would cause any harm under normal circumstances. They are not fully arboreal so are less adept at climbing on and negotiating smaller,  thinner vines and branches the way a truly arboreal reptile like an iguana would be. Beardeds are considered semi-arboreal and are found on lower, broader surfaces in the wild like fallen logs, rocks, stumps and fence posts.
