ANSWER: Hello Ross,

What type & brand of UVB light are you using?  Is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light?
What type of substrate are you using for him?  What were you feeding him?
You mentioned he seems bloated in his belly?
He has an undertank heater too?  Is it placed on to of the moist humid hide?
What are you taking the temps with?  A digital probe or a temp gun?
Can you send me a picture of him at my home email address?
It is Drache613@tampabay.rr.com

Thanks.

QUESTION: ESU UVB as well as a Florescent bulb tubes both.
He is on Reptibark and he gets misted 1 or 2 times a day
He has an under tank heater on the humid side
digital probe
taking pictures now.

Answer
Hello Ross,

Ok, this is important!  Which ESU are you using?  Does it say Slimline 7%, or does it say ESU/Zilla T50 desert series?  How old is the light?
Hm, could he have ingested any reptibark perhaps?  I would take the reptibark out & replace it with paper towels right now, ok?
So the UVB ESU is a flourescent tube & you have another type of flourescent tube?
Instead of using another flourescent tube for light, which doesn't put out much heat, I would use a low wattage basking light in conjunction with the undertank heater to obtain a hot spot of around 88-90.
I will look for the pictures.
