wild incects

Question
i found roach near my bed 1 night and i thought that my beardie might like it. this would be his first wild coght feeder but he seemed to enjoy it alot. iv heared fire flies r bad but theres none in my area, so do u think i should continue to feed him live incects as i come across them or should i stop for he might get sick? [oh ya if its important hes around 4-5 months im not really sure]

Hello Nick,

Well, living in the city, it is usually not a good idea to feed stray insects off of the road or areas around simply because of toxins & pesticides that they could have come into contact with.  If you are in the country & your grass area & surrounding area is safe, then it would probably be ok.  
It is normally best to either raise your own feeders or purchase them online.  
Yes, fireflys are lethal to them.
