Question
I now know my bearded dragon has hind leg paralysis, how can I help treat this? Is it fatal?

Answer
Hello Ashley,

Ok, how large in length is your dragon?  How old is your dragon?  If you fed too large of crickets to your dragon then it can cause impaction.
The size rule for crickets is they should not be any larger than the space between their eyes.
Yes, it can be fatal if you cannot get the impaction to pass.
Do you have a solid substrate in the bottom of the tank, or something loose like sand?
If you feel he is impacted, you will need to start on soft foods such as pumpkin, squash babyfood, & sugar free applesauce with a couple of drops of olive or mineral oil.  Give a warm bath, & gently massage his little belly on the right side starting at the armpit all of the way to the vent area.
Give extra oral fluids, as well.
Are you using UVB lighting & giving calcium regularly?
Let me know how things are going.
