hi,tracie i have a couple questions i have just purched a MHD and we have a exoterra tank the rainforest one. i think it is about 18inches long 24inches high and 18inches deep i don't no if that is good enough room for him???the tempature is mild to high 70s the basking spot is about low to mild 80s. i am not sure what the humidity but i think it about 60-70%. i mist the tank a couple times a day. he has a water dish but it is not moving so what should i do???also what is his attitude when he is happy and when he is sad?? thank you for your time!!

Hello Zachary,

The tank setup sounds pretty good.  What are you measuring the temps with, a stick on thermometer, a digital probe or a temp gun?  
Great you have a climbing rainforest setup he should like that.  
You need to setup a drip system for him because they wont drink unless the water is moving.  
Do you have a hygrometer right now?  
If he is happy, then he should be a bright color.  If he is not feeling well, then he will most likely be very dull.  
Are you using a UVB light?  If so, what type, a flourescent tube bulb, or a compact or coil light?
