Leopard Gecko Heat Mat

Hello Sandra,

I am setting up the viv for my leopard gecko im getting on friday.


I was just wondering , will my heat mat i have , have a thermostat in it? so will it turn off after a certain temperature is reached?

I am sorry for the delay in answering your question

The newer UTH's do have thermostat's connected to them but they are more expensive than the ones without
However it may be cheaper to get the "all in one" compared to buying them separately

I believe that they are the dimmer type of thermostat and work well for controlling the heat from the UTH

Just be sure to check your temps if there is a big change in the room temp that the tank is located in
