hello,and thanks.can I use A uva/uvb fluresant bulb ase the 12 hour light cycle,and my snakes still get the sufficient amount of vitamine D3?  thanks.

Hello Chuck,

You can use a UVB flourescent tube, but, it really is not necessary.  They eat whole prey & their body manufactures & stores D3 from the bones from the prey so they do not get metabolic bone disease like lizards do.  Their livers store & process D3 much more differently.
