QuestionAbout 2 days ago my leopard gecko laid her first egg ever. I know there is
only a lsight chance it will be fertile, but what should the egg look like?
When i first put the egg in the incubator it was indented, but white. It was
also a little dried up.
About a day after the incubation the egg turned a little more "better". It is still
indented but it is firm. Shoudl they be hard or soft?
Also i did the candle test and i saw pink at the bottom of the egg, ( I did
not turn it). Do you think it has a chance of survival or not?
AnswerHello Sherri,
Was she with a male? If not, then it wont be fertile. If so, then it has a good chance at survival.
They will be a little firm, or leathery feeling & white. They are not hard though.
If it is that white then it sounds like it is a good egg then.
