Question
we have corn ear worms in our corn sometimes. are they safe for my bearded dragon to eat?  thanks

Answer
Hi Donnie,
Insects found outdoors should not be fed to our pets because we don't know what diseases the insets may carry.  Also, even if we use no chemicals on our gardens, etc, we don't know where those insects have been prior to our gardens. If those insects happened to be eating plants that have been treated with chemical pesticides and even many fertilizers, we could poison our pets.
The wild birds and reptiles do eat the earworms, but for captive reptiles, its not  safe or recommended.
