Sibling rabbits

Question
Can you raise sibling bunnies together, and if so, should it be 2 females, 2 males or one of each.  We would definately have them spayed and neutered.  Thank YOu.

Answer
Dear Traci,

You can try to raise sibling bunnies together, especially if they have never been separated. Two females would probably get along better than two males, though if they are both neutered they might be less likely to fight. Of course, my sister has a neutered male and an un-spayed female that share a cage, and they are cute little  buddies! Whatever you do, keep an eye on them, and if they start fighting or chewing on each other, separate them. Also, be sure you have a cage with plenty of space so they do not get cramped. You can also put in some simple, rabbit-safe toys, such as the cardboard tubes from rolls of toilet paper.

God Bless
