Do rabbits calm down as they age?

Question
A year ago i got a male Netherland Dwarf and i couldn't hold him until he was over a year old because of how aggressive he was. Now he's still high-strung but he's holdable. So my problem with him is solved. But then i got the bright idea that i was going to get a female as a companion for him..now she's my problem. She's 2 months old and is completely nuts. The first day she was fine because of how scared she was but now that she's used to the house she's a complete nightmare. I can't even pet her. She bites and scratches me constantly. I was wondering if she will calm down with age like my other rabbit did.

Answer
hello Trisha

Im sure that you female will calm down as she gets older however i wouldnt give up on her. Taming her from a young age is much easier. i have a few ideas for you to try, instead of picking her up just keep stroking her instead, sit next to her cage and give her some yummy treats through the wire keep talking to her as she will reconise your voice, also if you have a run or a room in your house thats rabbit proof then sit down in the middle and gradually she will come near to you, when she does then feed her some veg or some treats

hope this helps
