Cold rabbit ears.

Question
I guess my question is should I worry about my rabbit's cold ears.  Is it a sign of an illness.

Today his ears are cold.  They didn't warm up after 3 hours.
Everything else seems normal.  Energetic, runs around and eating
fine.  Poop and pee are normal.

Answer
Cold ears are absolutely normal in cold weather for rabbits. No need to worry, unless the rabbit lives outdoors in extremely cold weather without a dry, draftfree shelter to keep warm in. without  shelter, the rabbit would become frostbitten, which would lead to greater problems like dehydration, and even death. So always provide your "outdoor rabbit' with the proper housing requirements.
But having cold ears is quite normal..Elizabeth
