im trying to figure out if my rabbit has ecoli...he isnt eating or drinking and he just sits in the same spot all day...i dont know whats wrong can u help me

Hi Candy,

only a vet is going to be able to determine what, if any, bacterial or viral infection your rabbit has.  They have to run a number of tests to rule out and confirm what he has.  He may have nothing, he may have one thing, or more than one.  They might find another reason for whatever he is.

If he truly is not eating or drinking anything, the RULE OF THUMB is get him to your vet as soon as physically possible.  If it has been more than 24 hours get him to your vet as soon as you read this, or the emergency vet if your regular vet is closed for the day.
