wanted to enter my french lop eared, cola, (2 yrs old) into a competition, but
don't know where to find one! do you?

ANSWER: hi becca if you ring this number they will be able to tell you your nearest club.
its the british rabbit council offices in newark
01636 676042.

just one thing your rabbit must have a ring on showing its age etc-if it has not got a ring you will not be able to show it- only in pet classes.

QUESTION: Thank you.
but where do you get the ring from?

ANSWER: the rings are bought from the british rabbit council and each one is specific to every rabbit. every tye of rabbit has a different ring size.
rings are put on each rabbit at about 1 week old and they cannot be removed.
if yours is fully grown it will not be able to be rung so i'm afraid its only pet classes it will be allowed in.

Answer
hi -a pet class is for pet rabbits. they will be judged on cleanliness /good health, nice cut nails and to see if they are being looked after properly.
not every show has a pet class so its best to ask before going.
it best to ring the secretary of the show who will tell you if there is a pet class.
rabbits must be at least 12 weeks old before you can show them.
