melanoma

My sister's rabbit just got diagnosed with melanoma.  The vet said the only option was a vaccine IF the vet was willing to give it to a rabbit.  Are there any treatment options?  They say it is in his lymph nodes also.

Melanoma is a cancer, so a vaccine wouldn't work. Could she get a second opinion with a different veterinarian? Here's a list of rabbit savvy vets by state:
