Please email me and let me know if I should some things

Answer
Dear Adriana,

Disinfect the toe thoroughly with dilute betadine solution (about 1 part betadine to 3 parts clean, lukewarm water) and keep an eye on it for any sign of swelling or redness.  If you see that, bunny needs to get to the vet ASAP for treatment.  You can find a good rabbit vet here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

If you see no sign of swelling or inflammation, then the nail should grow back soon.  But to prevent this from happening again, be sure the nails are all trimmed to the proper length (your vet can show you how) so they don't catch on things.  Also be sure if the bunny has a ramp or running areas that they are secure and have no loose loops or wires that could catch a toe and cause serious problems.

I hope this helps. Please write back if you have any other questions.
