QuestionAfter my bunny stops ripping off her fur when will it grow back?
AnswerHi Berenice,
you will need to send me additional info to my questions below.
Is she pulling a lot of her fur out, like leaving bare spots? Does it appear she is scratching herself a lot? Is she biting her fur? Is she excessively grooming herself?
Rabbits normally should not pull out their fur. They do shed their fur seasonally and groom themselves throughout the day. Shedding usually does not produce bald patches as the new fur is underneath and pushes the old fur out.
Can you provide me some background as to how old the rabbit is, and how you came to own her? That would be helpful as well.
