Babies abonadned?

Ok. My Doe just gave birth. She is in a outside cage and always has been. The babies are scatterd all over the cage.is that ok? I Have read not to touch them or to touch them. What one? Im afraid one is allready dead...and the other is not moving now. but i dont know what to do. Please help me. i need a answer soon...

Dear Kay,

No, this is not normal.  The mother is probably too inexperienced or too stressed to build a nest, and at this point she will not be able to move the babies to a nest.  Please read this for emergency instructions:
