Question
hi,
about a week ago i asked an expert a querie i had, i had two rabbits in the hutch and i think they were a girl and a boy not two girls which the vet told us they were when they were young, but she didnt charge us.
Anyway, weve got them in seperate cges in the house now, but the one we know for definate is a girl is acting strange and scared around us - quite different. She never was as friendly as the other rabbit, but she was never moody, also she keeps stomping her foot and ripping up the newspaper in her cage- the other one does but not as much as this one - its constantly ripping. Moreover, as we had to seperate them, we got them each a house to go into inside their cages, and today when i came in she had tipped it over so i put it back and she tipped it over again, she can get into it as easily, its just strange shes done this.
Also, earlier today i was sitting down and i heard this stomping sound, i peeped round looking at the rabbit in her cage and she was sitting up continuously about every minute stamping her foot, this continued for about 10 minutes.
Does this sound like a pregnant rabbits behavior? As ive heard they can be very moody, and strange. I would just like to be a bit more sure to prepare if she is .
            Thankyou

Answer
She may or may not be bred -- one way is to check the other and confirm male or female.  2 Females will act out the act of breeding to show dominance.  She may just be showing her donimance in her new cage, maybe she doesn't like being alone all of the sudden.  There are lots of possible reasons for the attitude and only someone experienced can confirm a pregnancy.
