I have dwarf rabbits and my doe had three babies this morning. The buck is in the cage with her and the babies do i need to remove him? He is very attentive to her and the babies . He tired to bite me when i touch my female and he won't let me close to the babies . Please help i don't want to loose the babies

Answer
Hello Carol !
Well 1st off congrats on the new litter.
Next Off you need to remove the buck from that cage. He may injure the kits male rabbits are not good care givers and he will eventually hurt them.
In the future it is not advisable to keep the two ( Buck & Doe ) in the same cage for extended length of time.
good luck .
