Mini lop behavior

Question
I've had my mini lop for about a week now, and he insists unpon sleeping in his litter pan. I've put his soiled bedding in it, droppings, it doesn't seem to phase him. He continues to relax there and just sprawl out. Is that normal? Could I be going about the litter training poorly?

Answer
Hello Katie

The exact same thing happened with my mini lop to. He just didnt realise that he is surposed to go a toilet in it. he just prefers it as a bed. Depending on how old your bunny is i think that you will only be able to litter train him if he is a baby. Starting at a young age don't usually work, alot like puppy training.

I think that u have tried all you can, but if your bunny is a baby then keep trying as you may still be able to train him

good luck
