twitching bunnies: hiccups?

hi, i have 2 9 week old rabbits and the smaller 1 seems 2 b getting more timid! she hides behind the fridge when i take her indoors but this has only happened in the last few days, she also started 2 twitch the other night while huddled behind the fridge and then her sister who was lying down content started 2 twitch also, kind of like silent hiccups, can you help at all?

Dear Jane,

Your young bunnies may well be having the hiccups, which young mammals do.  It's nothing to worry about.  But it's not a great idea to let the one bunny hide behind the refrigerator, where she could get stuck or injured.  I'd block off her access just to be on the safe side.
