Holland Lops

I got my son a holland lop yesterday and he is about six weeks maybe a little older. His fur is a little sticky and his feet are very brown. His nails need clipping and I was wondering how could I do at least most of it without taking him to get groomed? Thanks.

Yes, you can do all the grooming yourself.  If you go to http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabcare.html#nails it has information on grooming and nail trimming.  

As for his fur and feet, you can bathe him, but read the info at http://www.bio.miami.edu/hare/buttbath.html  The dry method might work best, rabbits don't like baths and stress out easily.

Usually all he really needs is his nails trimmed every 2-4 months.
