Question
Hello. I have had my rabbit for almost a year now, and she has been pregnant twice (or so we thought) she had a litter of 3 in November 2007, and since then she has become pregnant again, we were told rabbits were pregnant for five weeks. After around 4 weeks she begun to make a nest, 2 weeks later she has still not dropped - is it possible she may have had a phatom pregnancie? PLease give us some more information on them. Thankyou.

Answer
It's possible that she is having a false or phantom pregnancy.  Breeding rabbits isn't something I know too much about, but some people have experienced that some rabbits are more prone to false pregnancies than others.

They go through most if not all of the normal behaviors indicating pregnancy, but they aren't actually pregnant.

If you're interesting in increasing your chances of a real pregnancy, you can try some of the things listed in this guide on bunny pregnancy:

And the top of this one has some info on how to increase your chances and indicates the body language for a mating:

I hope this helps
